o Located on roughly three acres of land, the Whole Foods Center is in North Miami, Florida. We opened the Class-A property in May 2013, and subsequently achieved the sixth highest opening in Whole Foods company history.
o The total project cost was ~$13MM and we sold the property for ~$25MM. The 36k square footenvironmentally thoughtful, green building is designed based on Whole Food’s new modern prototype. Additionally, we created a 4.5k square foot outparcel for Verizon on a corporate lease.
o We built the Whole Foods store ground up and, in doing so, spearheaded the gentrification for the property’s surrounding neighborhood.
o We negotiated the lease with Whole Foods in just three weeks and completed the entitlements in just three months. Finally, we delivered the shell to the tenant more than six months ahead of schedule.
